The Goethe Institut is an organization dedicated to teaching German and making German culture visible in the rest of the world. In addition to its language courses, each Goethe Institut offers a variety of cultural activities, such as films, plays, book readings, etc.

The Goethe Institut has three branches in Central Canada:

• Montreal
• Ottawa
• Toronto

The German Language School Ottawa offers a full program of German language training for all school-age children, from Junior Kindergarden to high school completion.
